Jaidith (Jai) Hernandez was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico but has lived in the United States most of her life. She started her career in administration working with at-risk youth ages 5-17 in five alternative education schools. Jai was raised in the same impoverished, urban cities that most of the children in the schools were being raised in. Her past experience with oppression and being a young latin minority, allowed her to understand and help families in need.
Today, Jai holds a B.S. in Accounting & Finance, though her passion for helping families in need has never left her. Jai and her oldest daughter actively participate in the food bank program, putting meals together for members of the community.
Jai likes to read, trips to the beach, and loves being a mom of three!
